Japanese old clothes!(This man is my friend)

This is Japanese old fashion clothes. This clothes’s name is Kimono. We were wearing this untill 100 years ago. In the present, we are not wearing this,but this clothes didn’t disappear. I mean that we wore that in some our country event.For example, its are a temple festival , wedding , carnival , ceremony of coming of age day ,and the festival day for children aged seven, five and three- kind of celebration. These were Japanese old ritual-except weddig.Therefore, we were wearing the old fashion clothes. Why does wedding except? Because general people couldn’t do the wedding,only noble and rich person were able to do wedding, in over 200 years ago,and now we can choose wedding style like a America or old Japan. A lot of people choose American style. Because Japanese women are wishful for wearing white dress in the wedding. After 100 years, Kimono might disappear, because young people don’t know how to wear Kimono,and no heir of that. I feel regrettable.
